The 19th annual Lake Geneva Triathlon Series will be held in the small lakeside town of Fontana, WI, which lies on the western shore of Geneva Lake. Geneva Lake is 9 miles long, 170 feet deep, spring fed, and clear. The scenic views and unbelievable hills provide the ingredients for a very memorable race.
For 2008 , the Lake Geneva Triathlon Series consists of a Half Extreme, Olympic, Sprint and SuperSprint distances. All events are open to individuals and 2 or 3 person relay teams.
The course starts with a swim at Fontana Beach (Reid Park) in Fontana. It is followed by an out and back bike course on rural roads and culminates with a challenging run route that includes the infamous "Killer Hill" and beautiful tree lined streets.
